The goal of the course is to provide the fundamental concepts in functional engineering materials and their properties and applications.
The objectives are to learn (1) the fundamental principles of functional engineering materials, including ceramics, polymers, and composites, and (2) how their electrical, magnetic, thermal, and optical properties are used in engineering applications
